RemigoOne Gets a Remote Control Upgrade
Remigo recently introduced a new remote control system for the RemigoOne electric outboard that makes using your motor even more flexible and enjoyable. Rather than needing to be right at the transom to adjust throttle, you can now control speed from virtually anywhere on your boat — a feature that many boaters have been asking for.
The accessory pairs wirelessly with 2023-onwards RemigoOne and RemigoOne Neo outboards using a secure WLAN connection that doesn’t require Bluetooth or internet. It’s designed to work reliably within about 15 metres (around 50 feet), which is plenty for most small boat use cases.
What’s clever about this control is how versatile it is:
- It docks magnetically to the tiller for a familiar steering feel.
- It can be removed and used handheld if you prefer to operate from mid-boat or the bow.
- A floating wrist strap helps keep it safe if it goes overboard.
- A Man-Overboard (MOB) safety feature immediately cuts motor power if you fall in the water with the remote in hand.
The unit has its own rechargeable battery (USB-C), lasting up to about 12 hours of operation or more than a month in standby, and is fully waterproof for real-world boating use.
This optional remote adds a new layer of convenience to the RemigoOne experience, helping make electric propulsion even more intuitive whether you’re cruising, tending, fishing or just exploring. You can learn more and see the latest RemigoOne updates at Remigo.US.
