Under the Hood
Inside every Remigo is a compact, high-torque electric drive, a sealed 1,085 Wh battery pack, and marine-grade electronics engineered into a single aluminum body. RemigoOne Neo builds on this platform with a 1.5 kW boost mode—delivering up to 4 hp-equivalent thrust when you need extra push, with quiet, efficient cruising the rest of the time.
The Core of Remigo Electric Outboards
Power
Neo boasts up to 1.5 kW in boost mode (approx. 4 hp equivalent); 1 kW continuous for everyday use.
Battery
Integrated 1,085 Wh lithium-ion pack at 36 V with smart battery management for predictable runtime and fast, reliable charging.
Housing
Slim, efficient unibody that slips through the water. Fully sealed to IP67 above the waterline; submerged section meets IP69.
Range
Real-world use: for most users on a 10ft inflatable, expect 4–5 hours of runtime at 3knts. Giving 10–16 miles of range depending on speed and hull type.

Motor Engineering
The Remigo drive is a brushless DC motor running without a gearbox. Fewer moving parts means less noise and less to service. On Neo, the controller offers two power bands: a 1,000 W standard setting for everyday use and a 1,500 W boost mode for up to 60 seconds at a time, which can be re-triggered continuously if you need sustained maximum thrust.
Battery Architecture
The 1,085 Wh pack uses 36 V Li-ion cells managed by an onboard BMS. The system monitors cell voltage and temperature, controls charge and discharge limits, and provides protection against over-current, under-voltage and over-temperature conditions. The battery is permanently integrated into the leg to avoid connector corrosion and water ingress issues common with removable packs.
Charging & Power Management
Both models charge from 100–240 V AC via the supplied standard charger (around six hours from empty) or an optional fast charger (around three hours). A DC-DC charger allows you to recharge from a 12–24 V boat or vehicle battery bank in roughly 10–12 hours. The charger and BMS work together to balance cells and taper current towards the end of the cycle, protecting long-term battery health.
Materials & Protection
The body is marine-grade aluminum with full corrosion protection and sacrificial anodes for salt-water use. The electronics are sealed to IP67, with the submerged section around the shaft designed to withstand continuous immersion and impact in normal operation.
Control & Safety
The head unit gives simple two-button control, while the optional wireless remote uses a dedicated Wi-Fi link. If the remote loses connection (for example, if it goes overboard), the motor shuts down; you can restart it from the head controls. Firmware-based protections limit power if temperature or voltage move outside safe ranges.
